Seasons on our beach

January 2016

I thought I'd share some photographs of our beach taken throughout this past year.  These were taken with my mobile phone, so they're not the greatest quality. . .but I think you'll get the picture (ha-ha) of how the weather can drastically change the scenery.  This first image was taken about a week ago on a chilly morning.  The waves had brought up much wood and debris from the lake.  It looks like a mess, but really quite pretty when everything is covered in ice.













This next image is just from a month ago, and I cannot remember when we've had such a mild December.  The whole month was above normal temperatures.  Again, this was shot early in the morning, just as the sun was rising.

October 2015 was a great month for getting sunset shots.  Every evening Carl and I sit out on our deck and watch the sun going down.

And this is how our little beach looks most of the Summer.  We've got the "party house" in the family, and we do LOVE to entertain!
