My First Post

After six years of being on Blogger, I've finally decided to get my own Blog rolling. . .What took me so long?  By nature, I am a very social person, and I guess that I've been using my Facebook page as my "blog", but really, it's not the same as having a place where I can write out my thoughts and feelings. . .so, here I am.

I hope to show and share some of the things I love.

Although the name of this is "View From A Garden", it is not exclusively about gardening.  Yes, I love to garden, and we have a nice sized piece of property in which to experiment with various plantings.  And living in Northern Ohio, we have the full four Seasons, which comes with both challenges and rewards.  

I live in a pretty little house on the shore of Lake Erie in a beautiful small town with Carl, and he IS my "better half".  Work takes us to the heart of downtown Cleveland, so we feel that we have the best of both worlds.  

Among other pursuits, I enjoy creating art, reading, all types of music (we are avid concert-goers), and travel.

And there you have it: a small synopsis of what I'll be sharing.  I hope to make more friends through this blog, and a place to share ideas.
